Stories like this one make me glad I avoid FaceBook as much as possible and stick with what some people apparently think is useless on Twitter.  I'm following Susan Boyle's Cat on Twitter by the way.  ;D

That information is low level stuff and is easily obtainable on any search engine

Apple, BBC, Vodaphone and a few others I have forgotten right now, have all been found to be downloading that torrent list for marketing use.

Apparently the person uploading the list says none of the information was gained illegally and it was all available using a simple search due to people not bothering to use the privacy settings properly. That if people made most of their settings private to Friends Only, that the list simply wouldnt have been gathered.
