And you will probably get the work done and fairly quickly....... they just seem (or at least the council here) to want to send lots of people to do checks all the time!

My Gran wanted a new front door, so over 4 weeks it went like this....

- Send man to check if it needs replaced
- Send man to measure it
- Send man to replace new door
- Send man to check the door was replaced
- Send man to check the door that was replaced was done correctly to standard door regulations.
- Send a man to check with my Gran that she is happy with the new door or needing any changes or alterations if there is anything wrong
- Finally.... Send a man to check with her that all the work was carried out to her satisfaction and that the workers were all polite and helpful.

So in all..... 7 different men came to the house over 4 weeks just to replace one front door!

7 different men...I could do that!
