I managed to make it sound like a Friday night post on a Sunday, because someone I used to PM vanished after the fires in Australia and everyone suspects he died but doesn't really know, and probably because it was four in the morning! I hope I didn't freak anyone out!

Nothing wrong with a weird or depressing post. We all need to talk sometimes and if we couldnt do it on a site that is about talking to people, then where can you do it?

I hope that your friend turns up safe and sound eventually. Maybe he lost everything but his life, and that is why its hard for him to get back in touch?
