The whole point is -----WE ARE NOT AT WAR ------- We are trying to change a way of life, a way of life so different from our westernisation.

Try putting the boot on the other foot, imagine Afghanistan arriving in the U.K. saying our minds and bodies are corrupt and they have  sent an expeditionary force to alter our way of thinking --- our way of living --- our way natural way of life.

One of the political parties ( I imagine it would be the B.N.P. ) have set up a guerrilla army to combat these insurgents in order that we live our life as we have become to love it, wouldn't YOU want to fight for what you believed in?????????

I think the idea of what we have originally started fighting for is long lost now.

It was originally to attack terror camps in the mountains, but it seems that its now a long battle to eradicate the people that believe in the old lifestyle (taliban supporters) and allow those that believe in a democratic process to shine, and that to me had nothing to do with why we were originally there.

The same can be said of Iraq... you can listen to the labour party keep going on about how great the Iraq people's lives are now and how their country is better for the war, but they dont realise they are gloating about the wrong thing.
Simply put, we went in because Iraq was building chemical weapons and ready to hand them over to terrorist cells. So we went in to destroy those weapons!

No weapons were found and suddenly the spin doctors bring out the whole "we forced a change in the evil regime and brought peace and happiness to the people!"

I am not saying that people in Iraq or Afghanistan are any better or worse off because of our actions, in fact we probably could have done them a real huge favour for a better lifestyle for the majority, but the end result is that we went in for two very different reasons and I believe those reasons (whether right or wrong to do) are now LONG over and I dont believe we needed to be in either of them countries as long as we were/are.
